Marcelo Suarez is an ICT Professional with more than fifteen years of experience as Director IT, Systems Administrator, Network Administrator and Systems Development specialist. He currently serves as Senior Advisor, MIS and IT for the USAID funded PERFORM Project in Pakistan a support program for USAID/Pakistan. Previously he has served as Senior Director for IT, and oversees Monitoring and Evaluation Reporting, for the USAID funded Livelihoods Development Program, Pakistan and a second large USAID project supporting development of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas of northwest Pakistan. The previous years he was ICT Manager in the USAID-funded Agriculture Reconstruction and Development Program for Iraq (ARDI), a $105 million reconstruction project with offices distributed across the country. In this assignment, he was in charge of the installation and development of all Administrative, Financial and Technical systems, and of all IT Personnel in the project locations.
Mr. Suarez has hands-on experience with multiple ICT Technologies and their relation to monitoring and reporting systems. His international experience includes Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, East Timor, Sri Lanka, Jordan, Lebanon, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Brazil, South Africa, Armenia, Ukraine, UK, and the US.
